Apple Vision Pro has been launched on the market since February 2 2024 with a price tag of USD 3,999 or around IDR 65 million. Two months on, interest about the Apple Vision Pro is waning.

According to a report by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Vision Pro sales figures did not match Apple's expectations.

Quoting Ming-Chi Kuo's report via The Drum, Friday (26/4/2024), the slow adoption in introducing new technology to the public is one of the reasons why the Vision Pro headset lacks interest.

However, this is not a sign that Apple's new device will “die”. Kuo wrote that the company plans to ship between 400,000 and 450,000 Vision Pro units.

This figure is not the minimum number of 700,000 units that Apple had predicted in its “market consensus”, and currently the Vision Pro has not been released outside the US.

Since its launch, reports about the device have been mixed; Many praise its capabilities and others complain that it is too big and heavy.
