Stung by the Halving, Will Bitcoin Prices Break a New Record High?

Previously it was reported that the prices of the majority of top cryptocurrencies strengthened in the last 24 hours. Similar crypto price movements also occurred in the last week.

In these two periods, the strengthening was led by Dogecoin, followed by Solana and Bitcoin. While others rose, XRP, Tether and USDC actually corrected.

According to Coinmarketcap data, Thursday (29/2/2024) morning, Bitcoin (BTC) rose to USD 61,289.49, or around Rp. 961.93 million (exchange rate of Rp. 15,694.85 per USD). In the last 24 hours, the crypto with the largest market capitalization rose 7.64 percent. Meanwhile, in a week, Bitcoin rose 19.03 percent.

Ethereum (ETH) rose 5.17 percent to USD 3,415, or around IDR 53.6 million in the last 24 hours. In a week, Ethereum rose 16.29 percent. While others rose, Tether USDt (USDT) fell 0.01 percent in the last 24 hours to 1.00, equivalent to IDR 15,694.85. However, within a week, USDT still rose slightly by 0.03 percent.

The price of BNB (BNB) rose 4.76 percent in the last 24 hours to USD 413.98, equivalent to IDR 6.5 million. In a week, BNB rose 8.43 percent. Solana (SOL) rose 13.06 percent in the last 24 hours to USD 122.05, or around IDR 1.92 million. In a week, Solana rose 18.01 percent.
