As previously reported, the value of meme coins soared against the dollar on Thursday, October 26 2023 because the market valuation of the entire meme coin market reached USD 16.8 billion or the equivalent of IDR 267.5 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 15,927 per US dollar), an increase of 9.9 percent over the last 24 hours.

Reporting from Bitcoin.com, Friday (27/10/2023), the leading meme coin in terms of market capitalization, dogecoin (DOGE), has increased 11 percent over the past day. Just below DOGE is shiba inu (SHIB), which is up 7.8 percent in a 24-hour span.

DOGE has recorded USD 1.48 billion or equivalent to IDR 23.5 trillion in global trading volume over 24 hours, and SHIB has seen around USD 428 million or equivalent to IDR 6.8 trillion in trading volume.

Pepe (PEPE) rose 8.9 percent against the dollar, and floki (FLOKI) saw a 28.6 percent gain over the last 24 hours. The fifth largest meme coin by market capitalization, baby doge coin (BABYDOGE), has increased by 7 percent.

Although the meme coin economy generated a global trading volume of USD 2.66 billion over 24 hours, the majority of the trading volume came from DOGE and SHIB. In fact, around 71.42 percent of global trading volume currently comes from the two leading meme token assets.

Although the top five meme coins saw a decent increase in 24 hours, the biggest leaders in the meme coin world in terms of percentage increase currently are the meme coins pepesol, strawberry elephant, and wassie. The three meme tokens saw gains of between 70 percent and 290 percent over the past day.
