These are the complete results and schedule for the FA Cup quarter-finals

London, Beritasatu.com – The Liverpool club will meet arch rivals Manchester United (MU) in the FA Cup quarter-finals which will take place on March 16. Both Liverpool and MU won the FA Cup fifth round match, Thursday (29/2/2024) early morning WIB.

Champions of the 2024 League Cup last weekend, Liverpool beat Southampton with a landslide score of 3-0 with goals scored entirely by young players following injuries suffered by Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker.

Lewis Koumas, son of former Wales and West Brom midfielder Jason Koumas, marked his Reds debut with a 44th-minute opener.

Liverpool's second goal was scored by Jayden Danns (18 years old), who is the son of Neil Alexander Danns, former Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderers midfielder. Jayden scored the Reds' second goal in the 73rd minute after completing Hervey Elliot's pass.

Lewis Koumas ensured Liverpool's 3-0 victory after scoring his second goal in the 88th minute. In this match, Juergen Klopp also fielded 16 year old player Trey Nyoni who set a record for Liverpool's youngest player in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Manchester United secured their place in the quarter-finals thanks to Casemiro's header following Bruno Fernandes' soaring pass in the 89th minute. The 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest's headquarters lasted until the match was over and kept MU's hopes of at least bringing home their only trophy this season.

In another match, Chelsea had to struggle to beat Leeds with a score of 3-2. The Blues trailed 0-1 through Mateo Joseph's goal but were able to equalize 1-1 thanks to Nikolas Jackson's goal.

Chelsea took the lead after Sterling's pass was completed by Mudryk in the 37th minute, but Mateo Joseph managed to equalize 2-2 in the 59th minute.

Conor Gallagher, who came in to replace Noni Madueke, became a hero The Blues thanks to his goal which was lodged in Illan Mesler's goal in the 90th minute.
