2023 Korea Open Top 16 Schedule: Women KW vs An Se Young, Pramudya/Yeremia vs Hockey/Kobayashi

Yeonsu, Beritasatu.com – Six Indonesian representatives will fight for tickets to the quarter-finals of the Korea Open 2023, today Thursday (19/7/2023). One of the tough challenges will be faced by the women’s singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani (Women KW) who met second seed An Se Young.

Putri KW has never won in four meetings with the Korean player.

Another Indonesian women’s singles, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will face Sim Yu Jin. Gregoria has never lost in three meetings with her opponent.

Another tough test was also faced by another men’s doubles, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Rambitan who met the fifth seed, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi. The two have met three times and Hoki/Kobayashi are currently winning 2-1.

It is certain that the mixed doubles pair Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti will also have to work hard when they face first seeds Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong. Out of 12 meetings, Praveen/Melati have only won twice.

From mixed doubles, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja will face Seo Seung Jae/Chae Yu Jung. In the first meeting, Dejan/Gloria lost to the Korean pair in the round of 32 at the 2023 Indonesia Open.

After that, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto met Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han. Fajar/Rian’s chances of winning are wide open because they have only lost once in the last six meetings.
