5 Podcasts in Portuguese that every Marketing professional should listen to » Portal Insights

It's hard to imagine what the world was like before podcasts. Due to the ease of listening while doing other things, I can confidently attribute that half of the content I consume today is through podcasts – be it news, classes, interviews or even entertainment.

It's no surprise that Brazil is already the third country in the world where podcasts are listened to the most. According to a recent article by Exame, there are more than 30 million active listeners – almost 20% of the Brazilian population.

The podcast market is so hot that it is currently impossible to estimate the number of podcasts in the country and, with so many options, it is naturally more difficult to choose the ones that are really worth it.

Until now.

If you work in marketing or are considering moving into the area, below I list five podcasts that can accelerate your learning and/or keep you up to date with the main trends.

1. ROI Hunters

In terms of technical depth, ROI Hunters is by far the best marketing and growth podcast in Brazil.

The episodes are conducted by Dener Lippert, Guilherme Lippert (V4 Company) and João Vitor (Gestão 4.0) and are full of practical tips and more technical concepts, which go far beyond “rice and beans” and present the listener with details that only those who You're really hands-on, you know.

2. Braincast

With a completely different approach to ROI Hunters (less technical and more in an informal chat format), Braincast seeks to bring topics more linked to behavior and trends.

As it is not very technical and is conducted by advertising people, it is a more pleasant and light podcast to listen to, but it still brings valuable reflections and data.

3. Cast For Closers

Despite not being a podcast exactly focused on marketing, Cast For Closers brings extremely relevant (and often neglected) content, which is sales.

Yes, marketers need to master sales. At least the theory – to have a holistic view of the complete funnel and not feel embarrassed when interacting with commercial teams.

4. Book Summary

With a completely different format from the podcasts recommended so far, Book Summary brings – as the name suggests – very direct and well-prepared summaries of business, marketing, finance and personal development books.

As the episodes are shorter, I find it ideal for listening during those breaks in everyday life.

5. Insights Podcast

Finally, nothing fairer than leaving here a recommendation for our podcast: the Insights Podcast.

Despite not having as many episodes as those mentioned so far, we seek to bring relevant (and not always famous) people from the market to talk about topics that are valuable for any marketing professional, regardless of their level of experience.
