Actor Thiago Rodrigues declared that he is counting down the days to bring Jesus to life in the biggest Passion of Christ in Piauí, held in the city of Floriano. He reveals that he is delving deeper into biblical studies to enrich his interpretation, scheduled to take place on March 29th and 30th at Teatro Cidade Cenográfica.

“I am very excited and proud of the opportunity. I have always wanted to be in a Passion of Christ and now I will have my opportunity. The story of Jesus is wonderful and I will experience it from another point of view. Without a doubt, this experience will move me a lot”, points out the actor.

For this year's staging, guest actors Ana Lúcia Torre (Maria), Sergio Marone (Pilatos), Totia Meireles (Herodias), Zezeh Barbosa (Madalena) and Jefferson Mendes (Herod) are also cast, who join the local cast, made up of around 350 people, to relive the moving story of the life and death of Jesus Christ.

Floriano's Passion of Christ has free entry and is carried out by Grupo Escalet, Secretariat of Culture of the State of Piauí/Secult and Government of the State of Piauí, Floriano City Hall, Ferro Leste, Eldorado Bebidas, Via Bebidas, Law of Incentive to Culture – Rouanet Law, Paulo Gustavo Law and Federal Government.
