Affected by FIFA Sanctions for 3 Period Transfer Ban, This is PSM's Response

Makassar, Beritasatu.com – PSM Makassar responded to the sanctions imposed by FIFA regarding the ban on player transfers for three periods. PSM Makassar's punishment takes effect from April 12 2024.

Apart from PSM, PSS Sleman was also given similar sanctions. This was revealed after FIFA released a list of clubs that were banned from carrying out player transfer activities through its official website.

PSM Makassar management through Media Officer, Sulaiman Karim, said that his party respected the sanctions.

“Regarding the news circulating regarding sanctions for player transfers to PSM, we would like to convey that PSM appreciates the process that has been implemented by FIFA,” he said, Tuesday (16/4/2024).

Sulaiman revealed that PSM management this season had a dispute over settling obligations related to player evaluation in the second round.

“Now it's resolved on progress,” he said.

Even so, he guaranteed that management would immediately resolve the obligation dispute before the 2024/2025 season took place.

“What is certain is that management is committed that this problem will be resolved before the 2024/2025 transfer market opens so that it does not interfere with PSM's readiness to compete in the coming season,” he said.
