Agractie reports hacking – The Instagram account of Agractie Nederland was hacked last month, reports the farmers’ organization. Agractie says it has filed a report.

According to the organization, the Instagram account was “suddenly pats-boom gone”. The password would have consisted of sixteen letters, numbers and characters. “The hacker immediately changed the associated email address, name and password.”

The account had been receiving aggressive threatening messages from “animal extremists” for several months, according to the farmers’ organization. “There may be a connection between this hack and these extremist groups.” Agractie also says it has reported the threatening messages.

Attempts to get back to the account would have been in vain for the time being. In the meantime, a new account has been created, according to Agractie.
