Apple will release a password application on iOS 18, making logging into sites even easier

Previously, rumors suggested that iOS 18 would feature a number of Siri improvements and new AI (artificial intelligence) features.

It is stated that this is the first time that the OS for the iPhone will be given a major overhaul since iOS was first launched in 2007.

Now, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has revealed new information about what new features will be present in the upcoming iOS 18 update.

Reported by Mark Gurman, Monday (29/4/2024), Apple will overhaul many of the default applications in iOS 18, including Mail, Notes, Photos and Fitness.

Apart from iOS, the company is said to be bringing this OS update to iPadOS 18 by introducing a built-in calculator application on the iPad.

With the arrival of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, users should be able to pin app icons anywhere on the home screen, even if that means they're placed outside the usual grid.

Although this AI feature has many iPhones and iPads tempted, Gurman said don't expect iOS 18 to include as many design changes as iOS 7.
