The audience used to have a different craze for this show which was aired on Doordarshan in the 80s. After this, the telecast of ‘Ramayana’ serial started once again during the lockdown after the knock of Kovid epidemic.
Even then there was tremendous craze in the audience towards it. Now from today this ‘Ramayana’ serial is going to air again on TV. It can be seen today from 7:30 pm on Shemaroo TV. Actor Arun Govil, who recently played the role of Ram in ‘Ramayana’, has reacted to this.

The actor further said, ‘Ramayana is such an institution in itself, which teaches us how to live life. We should not look at it only from the point of view of entertainment, what is said in it, what has been told, if we take it down in our life, then there will be a lot of happiness, peace and joy in our life.
Let us tell you that the show ‘Ramayana’ was originally aired from 25 January 1987 to 31 July 1988 and received massive love from the audience. It featured Arun Govil as Ram, Dipika Chikhaliya as Sita and Sunil Lahiri as Lakshman. Whereas late actor Dara Singh played the role of Hanuman and Arvind Trivedi was seen in the role of Ravana.
