Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has just announced his retirement from professional football starting July 1, 2023.

Through his Twitter account, Cesc Fabregas thanked all the clubs, teammates, coaches and fans who have supported him throughout his 20 year football career.

Quoted from the channel Sports Liputan6.comSunday (2/7/2023), Cesc Fabregas retired at the age of 36 after playing for Como, an Italian Serie B club owned by the Indonesian giant company, Djarum Group.

Cesc joined Como in the summer of 2022 after leaving AS Monaco, with one year remaining on his contract with Como 1907. However, he opted to end it early and move into coaching.
