In the year 2024, these awards will be held at Crypto.com Arena starting at 8 pm on 4th February. The awards will be streamed live on ‘Paramount+’. Earlier this month, the Recording Academy announced that three new categories would be added to the Grammys in 2024. These categories will be Best Pop Dance Recording, Best African Music Performance and Best Alternative Jazz Album. He also shared some new voting rules, including new protocols related to AI technology. Furthermore, to win a nomination for the Album of the Year category, a music producer must now account for at least 20% of the work. This is the reverse of the rule implemented in 2021. The rule in 2021 allowed anyone who worked on an album to receive a nomination.
