IBL 2024 Results: Rajawali Makes a Brilliant Comeback, Defeats Satria Muda Dramatically

This time, Abraham Damar Grahita and his friends lost to host Rajawali Medan 88-89 in the continuation of IBL 2024 at the Medan University GOR, Friday (10/5/2024) evening WIB. Rajawali made a powerful comeback in the third and fourth quarters.

In this match, Rajawali was 19 points behind in the first half. At halftime, SM was still leading by 16 points (32-48). However, Rajawali did something extraordinary in the third quarter with a 30-17 lead. Keeping them within three points (62-65) as the third quarter closed.

Rajawali was crazy by making 12 shots from 21 attempts, including six three-pointers in the third quarter. Of the six three points, four of them were made by Patrick McGlynn, then Jonas Zohore and Respati Ragil Pamungkas each contributed one three point.

Rajawali's struggles continued in the fourth quarter. After trailing for almost the entire match, Patrick McGlynn became the main motor behind Rajawali's comeback four minutes into the fourth quarter. Six straight points to tie the game at 77-77. The Rajawali supporters who were present immediately provided an injection of enthusiasm for the home team.

With two minutes remaining, Respati Ragil Pamungkas made a three-pointer to lead 86-84. Unfortunately a foul from M. Yasier Rahmat brought Myke Henry to the free throw line to equalize (86-86). Yasier committed another foul which almost cost Rajawali. But Jarred Shaw failed to score two free throw opportunities in a row.
