With the various new features that Apple has introduced in iOS 18, many of you are sure to be curious about whether the iPhone you are currently using supports the new operating system.

“Apple today showed off iOS 18, a major release that features more customization options, the biggest redesign ever to the Photos app on iOS, new ways for users to manage their inboxes in Mail, Satellite messages, and more,” said Craig Federighi, Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering.

As you can see, the row of iPhones that received the iOS 18 update is similar to the Apple cellphone models that run iOS 17.

However, there are several new iOS 18 features that will not be present on older iPhone models. Apple said that only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can use AI or Apple Intelligence features.

It is stated that this is because the Apple Intelligence feature can only operate optimally with the A17 Pro and M1 chipsets and above.
