Industry Players Welcome the Determination of the Indonesian Crypto Exchange

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Tokocrypto CEO, Yudhono Rawis as one of the crypto industry players in Indonesia welcomed the establishment of the Crypto Asset Exchange by the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti).

Yudhono said that the institutional ecosystem of the crypto asset industry through a complete crypto exchange could provide legal certainty, transparency and protection for business people and investors in it.

“This designation is an important step in strengthening Indonesia’s position as a center for trade and innovation in crypto assets in the Southeast Asia region,” Yudhono told Liputan6.com, Friday (21/7/2023).

He added, with the existence of a crypto exchange, clearing, and manager of a crypto asset repository regulated by Bappebti, it is hoped that it can increase public trust in the crypto asset industry. Through clear and integrated regulations, business people can operate legally and avoid harmful practices.

Expanding Crypto Asset Accessibility

Apart from that, according to Yudhono, the existence of this institution can also expand the accessibility of crypto assets for the general public.

As one of the industry players, Yudhono supports and awaits other strategic directions regarding this institutional setting where Tokocrypto will continue to prioritize user comfort and security, if any changes or adjustments must be made.
