iPhone Bug Suggests Palestine Flag Emoji When User Types 'Jerusalem' on Keyboard
Meanwhile, Apple recently sent a notification to all iPhone users in 92 countries on Wednesday, May 10 2024, regarding cyber attack notifications.
Reported by TechCrunch, Friday (12/4/2024), the notification contained a warning that they may have been the target of a mercenary spyware attack.
Apple sent the warning to individual users in 92 countries at 12 noon local time. Unfortunately, Apple did not reveal the identity of the attacker or which countries received the notification.
“Apple detects, you are the target of a mercenary spyware attack attempting to remotely compromise the iPhone associated with your Apple ID -xxx-,” he wrote in a warning to affected customers.
TechCrunch said, “this attack likely targets iPhone users specifically because of who you are or what work you do.”
The iPhone maker is known to regularly send notifications of this kind several times a year, and has distributed notifications about similar cyber threats in more than 150 countries since 2021.
