Oh Young Soo, Squid Game Star Wants to Appeal After Being Found Guilty in the Harassment Case

Liputan6.com, Seoul – The sexual harassment case that befell veteran actor Oh Young Soo has finally been hammered. Reporting from the Korea Herald and Soompi, in a trial held on Friday (15/2/2024), the judge found him guilty.

The star Squid Game sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended on probation for two years. He is also required to complete a sexual violence prevention program with a total duration of 40 hours.

Just to remind you, the plaintiff claims this incident occurred in 2017. However, the sexual harassment lawsuit was filed in December 2021, when the 79-year-old actor became increasingly popular Squid Game. Meanwhile, prosecutors will charge him in November 2022.

The plaintiff stated that Oh Young Soo hugged and kissed this woman on the cheek.

“The content in the victim's journal and the counseling she underwent after the incident are consistent with what happened, and she cannot provide testimony if she did not actually experience it,” said the judge at the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court in Gyeonggi Province.
