Pochettino wants to help Dele Alli, wants to be pulled to Chelsea?

– New Chelsea coach, Mauricio Pochettino, plans to call up a player who had been with him at Tottenham Hotspur, Dele Alli.

Pochettino, who once made Alli shine at Spurs, knows his former player is currently in a downward spiral at Everton.

Since the summer of 2021, Alli has made just 23 Premier League appearances and scored one goal.

“I wish I had time to call and meet because he’s a great guy and I wanted to talk to him for a minute. I want to help him and find out what’s going on,” said Pochettino.

Last summer, Dele Alli was loaned by Everton to Besiktas. The 27-year-old had hoped to step up his game in Turkey, but things didn’t go according to plan.

Alli actually appeared disappointing at the Turkish club, including because he was plagued by injuries. He was only able to score three goals in 15 appearances.
