Scores another goal, Phil Foden becomes increasingly confident

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Phil Foden admits that his belief in appearing more often in the first team is the key to his successful performance this season. Last season, he only appeared occasionally as a starter. However, this season he has appeared in almost all matches from the start.

He also scored his team's last goal in their 3-1 win at home to Copenhagen in the first leg of the Champions League last 16, Wednesday (14/2/2023) early morning WIB. Foden usually plays on the wing or number 10 position since appearing for Man City. However, he now feels more comfortable playing as a fulcrum.

“I feel alive. I feel like I'm always involved in the game. I was able to get the ball, play some good passes and build confidence. “If you play on the wing, you have to wait for the ball,” he said.
