SHINee's Taemin reportedly left SM Entertainment after his contract ended

Liputan6.com, Jakarta South Korean Media News1 reported that Taemin's exclusive contract with SM Entertainment will end at the end of March 2024. The youngest SHINee member reportedly will not renew his contract with the agency that has overseen him for 16 years.

Taemin will reportedly continue his activities as an individual under a new agency but will continue his group activities with SHINee under SM Entertainment. SPOTV News reported that Taemin would sign a contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment.

Reported from the site Soompi on Tuesday (5/3/2024), responding to Taemin's recruitment report to their agency, a representative from Big Planet Made briefly said, “There has been no decision yet.”

Not long after, the media YTN also reported about Onew's work contract. According to several industry insiders, Onew will also complete his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in the first half of this year.

However, there has been no official response from the parties concerned regarding Onew's contract.
