Solskjaer Rates Michael Carrick Deserves to Become MU Coach

– Former Manchester United (MU) coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his former teammate, Michael Carrick will eventually return to Old Trafford.

Carrick has developed immensely as Middlesbrough coach this season. According to Solskjaer, Carrick already has enough experience as a coach.

“I am 100 per cent sure that Michael will be Manchester United manager if he wants to be,” he said.

Carrick is said to have been an assistant coach to Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho.

“Michael was a man of values ​​and principles, a great family man, but his knowledge was also unmatched. He has coached Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, and he has played with the best players in the world. He is a winner, but he still manages to control his emotions,” said Solskjaer.

For that reason, Solskjaer believes that Carrick deserves to be the MU coach.

“I can’t see him not being the coach of Manchester United. At United, I sometimes saw Michael talking to the players. Some of them are former teammates, which is not easy, but he has authority,” he said.
