Synopsis and Review of My Dearest: When Love Grows Amidst the Turmoil of the Qing Dynasty Invasion

After winning 8 awards at the 2023 MBC Awards, the historical drama or sageuk starring Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin, took home 2 trophies at South Korea's most prestigious awards event, the 2024 Baeksang Arts Awards, in early May this year.

In these awards, this MBC drama production won the best drama award, and best actor for Namgoong Min. Ahn Eun Jin, who was nominated for best actress, had to be patient when she saw Lee Honey win through drama Knight Flower.

Jang Hyun is described as a cheerful man and has a strong charm. However, he keeps a big and dark secret. Jang Hyun then appeared in an area and met Gil Chae for the first time.

Gil Chae is a bright, cheerful, spoiled but arrogant Joseon girl. He felt like everything in this world was spinning for him. Who would have thought, this trait amazed Jang Hyun. Gil Chae also felt the same thing. But his sky-high prestige made him deny that feeling.
