Targeted by Al Hilal, Luis Diaz is not for sale by Liverpool

Al Hilal’s interest was sparked by Diaz’s current situation, which had to compete fiercely to get the chance to play in the first team. In the left wing position, Diaz has to compete with Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and also Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 26-year-old last season only got a chance to play in 21 matches because of a serious knee injury. Diaz was absent for six months from October to February.
However, Diaz quickly found a place in starting XI Jurgen Klopp has since returned, and has scored five goals and three assists in all competitions.
The former Porto man had an immediate success at Anfield upon his arrival midway through the 2021-22 season and became an instant fan favorite on Merseyside.
Diaz contributed six goals and five assists in his first half-season at the club, helping Liverpool to secure FA Cup and EFL Cup titles, as well as finishing second in the Premier League.
Previously, there was one Liverpool player who left for the Saudi Arabian League, namely Fabinho. This Brazilian player was signed by the Al Ittihad club.
