The Bhayangkara Volleyball Team is Ready to Compete at AVC 2023 in Bahrain

The Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team was officially released by Irwasum Polri Komjen Pol Ahmad Dhoiri together with the General Chairperson of PP PBVSI (Management of Indonesian Badminton Association), Imam Sudjarwo, Thursday (11/5/2023). The Bhayangkara team is ready to represent Indonesia in the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship (AVC) on 14-21 May 2023 in Mamaka City Bahrain.

In this event, Bhayangkara Presisi will compete to be the best with 16 countries that have sent their best volleyball teams to the most prestigious club volleyball event at the Asian level.

“I appreciate the departure of the Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team to compete in the Asian-level club volleyball event which will be held in Bahrain. Moreover, they are the nation’s best sons who are able to make Indonesia proud in the international arena. The hope is to maintain teamwork, improve keep up the enthusiasm and carry the good name of the team, the Police and the name of Indonesia on the international stage,” said the General Supervision Inspector (Irwasum) of the National Police, Komjen Pol Ahmad Dofiri when sending off the Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team at the PTIK Auditorium Blok M, South Jakarta.

Meanwhile, General Chairperson of PBVSI Imam Sudjarwo stated, the Bhayangkara Presisi team was chosen to compete in this Asian championship event because it showed its best quality by being runner up in the 2023 Proliga event.

“They have good quality, ability and dedication while fighting in national events such as Proliga 2023 yesterday. Moreover, this team is inhabited by many national team players who succeeded in winning the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. So we are sure they will be able to achieve achievements which is satisfying in this event,” said Imam.

Imam hopes that the Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team will be able to continue the achievements of the Indonesian men’s national team, which has just won a gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia.

“I am optimistic that this team will be able to excel because I believe that all this time they have been trained hard to be able to achieve, especially since this team is filled with national team players, of course they have quality individually. It’s just how they maintain the cohesiveness and harmony of the team so they can be victorious and so can we. know the strength map of other countries’ teams, but we are sure that this team will play totally and confidently,” he said.

In the 2023 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship (AVC), the Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team joined in Group A along with the Al-Ahli (Bahrain) volleyball team, Incheon Korean Air Jumbos (South Korea), and Canberra Heat (Australia).
