WhatsApp Releases Message Search Feature by Date, Here's How to Use It

Previously, WhatsApp announced that it had added four new text formatting options. In this way, users of the chat application can more easily organize and compose the messages they want to send.

The presence of this new feature on WhatsApp was announced directly by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, via his WhatsApp Channel account. This feature is said to save time and help users be more effective when communicating.

“Have done this with our new formatting options in WhatsApp — check the shortcuts,” wrote Mark Zuckerberg as quoted from his Channel account.

There are four new text formatting features presented by WhatsApp this time, namely bulleted list, numbered list, block quote, and inline code.

As the name suggests, bulleted lists and numbered lists help users of this chat application send messages in the form of points, both numbers and dots. Meanwhile the quote block feature helps users highlight specific text that the user wants.

Finally, sequence codes can help users distinguish specific information in sentences. These four features complement the text formatting options that already exist in the WhatsApp application, such as Bold, Italic, Strikethrough and Monospace.
