WhatsApp Users Can Now Schedule Events in the Community Feature

Previously, WhatsApp, Meta's messaging application, continued to provide innovation and convenience for its 3 billion users in the world. Through its latest update, WhatsApp launched a new feature.

This new WhatsApp feature allows users to call numbers that are not stored in the contact list.

This new WhatsApp feature is here to increase user comfort in communicating, so you no longer need to bother saving someone's contact number just to make a phone call.

How to? Reported WABetaInfo, Sunday (27/4/2024), Meta will add a dial (dialer) feature to the WhatsApp application. This change is visible in the latest beta version of the WhatsApp application (v2.24.9.28).

Based on the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the dial feature on WhatsApp looks simple with a T9 keypad at the bottom of the screen and a green call button below the keypad.

Currently, WhatsApp users who want to make a call must have the other user's number saved in their contact list. With this WhatsApp feature, numbers that are not saved in the contact list can still be contacted.

Previously, WhatsApp had made a similar change by allowing users to send messages to numbers that were not saved in the contact list.

Apparently, this change received positive feedback so the company finally decided on this feature when users want to make a phone call.
