Whindersson raises R$3 million in campaign and João Gomes donates concert fee in Paulistana – Cidades na Net

YouTuber and comedian from Piauí, Whindersson Nunes, used social media to inform that he was ending the first campaign he launched to help people affected by the flood tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul. In total, funds were raised R$ 3,003,623.64.

Now, according to the YouTuber, he is asking fans and followers to start donating through a new pix running the campaign “The Biggest Solidarity Campaign in RS” running on the website vakinha.com.br.

The native of Piauí was one of the first artists to begin mobilizing to help the state affected by the floods. In addition to the campaigns, Whindersson Nunes intends to do a benefit show and obtained the São Januário stadium with Vasco to host the event.

João Gomes donates concert fee in Piauí

Singer João Gomes used social media to announce that he would donate the total fee from his show held last Saturday (04) in Paulistana (467 km from Teresina) to help “those who need it most in Rio Grande do Sul”.

In stories, João Gomes also shared moving records and testimonies from volunteers and victims of this tragedy.

More mobilizations

Other artists, such as the model from Rio Grande do Sul, Gisele Bündchen, as well as Anitta, Luan Santana, Ivete Sangalo and other artists are using social networks to publicize ways to help. Singer Luísa Sonza, who is also from Rio Grande do Sul, announced that she will also perform a benefit show with the participation of Pocah, Lexa and Duda Beat.
