Winning, Singo Crazy Gets Out of the Relegation Zone

Gianyar, Beritasatu.com – Arema FC won and got out of the relegation zone after successfully beating Persija Jakarta with a score of 3-2 in the 26th match of the 2023/2024 Indonesian League 1 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Regency, Bali, on Monday (26/2/ 2023) afternoon.

The winning goal was scored by striker Charles Lokoli Ngoy after using a pass from Achmad Maulana. The match was exciting with reciprocating attacks between the two teams under the supervision of referee Tommi Manggopa.

Persija Jakarta actually took the lead through Marko Simic's goal after only 12 minutes of the match. However, Singo Edan, nicknamed Arema FC, managed to equalize through Dedik Setiawan in the 20th minute.

The team from East Java took the lead thanks to a goal from the penalty spot which was executed by Dedik Setiawan.

After the break, Persija Jakarta managed to equalize through Marko Simic's second goal in the 56th minute. Two minutes later, Persija had to play with 10 people because defender Muhammad Ferrari was given a red card.

Taking advantage of the superior number of players, Arema FC took the lead again thanks to a goal from Charles Lokoli Ngoy in the 78th minute. The score of 3-2 for Arema lasted until the match was over.

With this victory, Arema FC managed to move up to 15th place from 16th, collecting 27 points and getting out of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Persija Jakarta is ranked 12th in the Indonesian League 1 standings.

Meanwhile, Persita Tangerang is temporarily in the relegation zone with the same number of points as Arema, but has a different goal difference.
