2023 Sudirman Cup Squad, There are Doubles from PB Djarum

The 2023 Sudirman Cup will be held in Suzhou, China, May 14-21. Indonesia fielded the best squad. Apart from Pelatnas Cipayung players, the Central Executive of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) also summoned PB Djarum’s doubles, namely Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.

To smooth out the target of winning the Sudirman Cup, Rionny Maianky summoned the mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah / Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.

Even though currently Dejan/Gloria are not coached at the Cipayung National Training Center, but PB Djarum, with their recent slick and promising performance, these two players deserve to be recruited into the Indonesian team. “This is due to bringing the name of Indonesia. Whoever the player who has the best performance deserves to be in the team. They really deserve our summons and enter to strengthen the Indonesian team for the 2023 Sudirman Cup,” said Rionny.

The names of other players who strengthened the Indonesian team to the Sudirman Cup were residents of the Cipayung National Training Center, East Jakarta. In the men’s singles, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie were strengthened. For women’s singles, there are Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.

In men’s doubles, Indonesia relies on Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.
