Spalletti began his managerial journey with Empoli in 1993. From there, Spalletti stepped up to big clubs in Italy, making an undeniable impact wherever he stepped.

His two spells with AS Roma proved his extraordinary skills, where he led the team to two consecutive Coppa Italia titles.

However, his greatest achievements were not only found in his homeland. Spalletti expanded his influence to Russia by leading Zenit St Petersburg from 2009 to 2014. There, he won two Russian Premier League titles, marking a golden era for the club.

The coveted Serie A title then came when he managed Napoli. He led the team to win the Scudetto in the 2022/2023 season, while also making his name as one of the most influential coaches in the history of the Italian League.

This achievement prompted the Italian Football Federation to appoint him as national team coach in August 2023.
