23 Names of Indonesian National Team Players in the U-23 Asian Cup

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Indonesian U-23 National Team coach Shin Tae-yong has determined his team's final squad containing 23 players to compete in the U-23 Asian Cup.

The Garuda Muda team on Sunday (14/4/2024) received additional strength after Nathan Tjoe-A-On was confirmed to join the U-23 National Team.

With Nathan's entry, two players, namely Kakang Rudianto (Persib Bandung) and Muhammad Dzaky Asraf (PSM Makassar) were sent home due to tournament regulations and technical considerations.

“We would like to thank all League 1 clubs and overseas players who have released their players to the Indonesian U-23 team. “Thank you also to the players who have taken part in training camps in Dubai and Doha and we have returned them to the club (Erlangga, Rifky Dwi, Kakang and Dzaky),” said U-23 National Team manager Endri Erawan, Monday (15/4/2025).

Before competing in the U-23 Asian Cup, the Indonesian national team had been holding a training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates since early April. The U-23 national team also played two trial matches against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup, Indonesia is in Group A with hosts Qatar, Jordan and Australia. Indonesia will play its first match against Qatar on Monday (15/4/2024).

Then, challenge Australia on Thursday (18/4/2024), and end the group phase against Jordan next Sunday (21/4/2024).
