The NFT game Axie Infinity Launches on the App Store, Indonesians Can Already Download it

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Sky Mavis, creator of the non-fungible token (NFT) project Axie Infinity launched the card game Axie Infinity: Origins on the Apple App Store. The game was previously available on a limited basis on the Google Play Store and Mavis Hub.

The card-based strategy game, which provides players with a free non-NFT starter character, will launch first on Apple Stores across Latin America and Asia, including Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam. The game has been installed 1.5 million times across all platforms and plans to continue its global expansion through Google and Apple mobile users.

Sky Mavis also launched Mavis Market, an NFT marketplace powered by the company’s native Ronin blockchain. Starting today, Wednesday 17 May 2023, some collections from third-party game or dapp developers using Ronin will be available in the market. The company also plans to launch a merchandise store.

Axie Infinity has successfully recovered from last year’s USD 625 million hack, overhauling the Ronin core systems in March to make the network more decentralized and secure. In addition, the company has also partnered with game development studios, including Tribes Studio, Bali Games, Directive Games, and Bowled.io, to expand the world of Axie Infinity, enabling certain games to use the Axie IP.
