AC Milan Transports Salzburg Striker Noah Okafor

Milan, Beritasatu.com – AC Milan signed striker Noah Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 23-year-old Switzerland international has signed a five-year contract which will run until 30 June 2028.

Okafor came from the Basel youth team. He made his professional debut in 2018 and scored seven goals in 54 matches.

He moved to Salzburg in January 2020 and caught the attention of Milan after scoring 34 goals in 110 appearances, helping the club to four Austrian Bundesliga titles and three Austrian Cups.

“Noah Okafor has joined @acmilan on a permanent basis. We want to thank him for the great contribution he has made to our club, and wish him all the best as he joins one of the biggest clubs in the world. See you soon, Noah,” wrote Salzburg on his Twitter account, Sunday (23/7/2023).

Okafor made his international debut in June 2019 against England. While his first goal against Switzerland ensured his country qualified for the World Cup in Qatar.

He goes inside squats for the finals in Qatar and appeared as a substitute in three of Switzerland’s four games.
