Leaving the Red Devils, Alex Telles Reunion with Ronaldo at Al Nassr

Manchester, Beritasatu.com – Brazilian defender, Alex Telles has finally officially left Manchester United (MU) to join Al Nassr on a permanent status.

The 30-year-old will be reunited with former United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the Saudi Pro League outfit in January.

MU and Al Nassr did not disclose the transfer fee or the duration of Telles’ contract.

The left-back has made 50 appearances for the Red Devils, United’s nickname after being brought in from Porto for a fee of £ 13.6 million in 2020. But last season he was on loan at Sevilla.

Telles adds to the list of Premier League alumni who have left for Saudi Arabia after N’Golo Kante from Chelsea and Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.

The Brazil international, who has 12 international caps and made two appearances at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, had previously struggled to get a chance to play at MU. He must compete with Luke Shaw for the left-back position at Old Trafford.

He was loaned out to Sevilla last season after struggling for first-team opportunities. Telles appeared in 38 games for the La Liga side, starting in their win over Roma on penalties in the Europa League final.
