SEA V League 2023 Results: Indonesian Men’s National Volleyball Team Wins After Complete Revenge to Thailand

The Indonesian men’s volleyball national team match against Thailand was fierce from the first set. Thailand won 8-7 over Indonesia in the first technical time out.

Despite the support of hundreds of spectators who packed the Candradimuka Volleyball Sports Center for Volleyball Police General Kunarto, Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia is under pressure. So lost 20-25 in the first set.

In the second set, Indonesia played more attacking. As a setter, Dio Zulfikri’s passes were able to outwit the Thai players’ blocks. The back attack bait from positions 6 and 1 which was spiked by Farhan Halim and Boy Arnez Arabi made up for the Thai blocks.

Likewise Fahri Septian Putratama’s spike from fourth position. Indonesia also won with a score of 25-17.

In the third set, Thailand tried to get up and lead 5-3. But, slowly Indonesia was able to equalize the score 12-12 and turned around winning 19-15. Indonesia continues to lead and win this set with a score of 25-23.

In the fourth set, the Indonesian men’s volleyball team grew more confident and led 5-2. Thailand tried to continue to provide resistance and reduce the score to 13-16.

The match was even more tense because Thailand evened the score 24-24 resulting in deuce. The audience also continued to support the Indonesian men’s volleyball national team until they won 27-25.

Fahri Septian Putratama contributed the best points for Indonesia, namely 23. Meanwhile Farhan Halim recorded 18 points and Boy Arnez Arabi 11 points.
