The Caboclo dam, located on the border between the municipalities of Belém do Piauí and Padre Marcos, was the place chosen by hundreds of people to enjoy Sunday.

The dam has been overflowing onto the state highway PI-243 since last Friday (8), and since then, the place has been very popular with the local population and visitors.

This Sunday, the 10th, the flow of people at the site was large. In addition to becoming an entertainment and leisure space, the dam also made it possible to generate income. Owners of bars, stalls and street vendors took advantage of the movement to sell drinks, food and a variety of other products.

The tranquility and safety of tourists was also a concern. The Military Police reinforced its extensive work at the site, with permanent patrols, as well as the presence of private security guards.
