Mumbai Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has bought five office properties in Mumbai’s Andheri West in two separate transactions worth Rs 45.09 crore. The actor has his own production and distribution company, Ajay Devgan FFilms, which was established in 2000. According to data analytics firm CRE Matrix, office units with a total area of 13,293 sq ft are located along Veera Desai Road within the Signature Building, Oshiwara. The actor has paid Rs 45.09 crore for the properties.
Apart from ADF, Ajay also has a visual effects company NY VFXWAALA, named after his and Kajol’s children Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan. It is involved in the production of films like ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Tamasha’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Mersal’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Force 2’ and ‘Simmba’ to name a few. However, it is not known whether the actor’s new investment is a part of his future plans for any company or not.
The price of three units located on the 16th floor is Rs 30.35 crore and the stamp duty paid on it was Rs 1.82 crore. The built-up area of the units is 8,405 sq ft. Ajay Devgn also bought two office units on the 17th floor of the building spread over 4,893 sq ft built-up area for Rs 14.74 crore, on which stamp duty of Rs 88.44 lakh was paid.
It was a part of Veer Savarkar Projects. The report states that both the properties were registered in the name of Vishal (Ajay) Virendra Devgan on April 19, 2023. In 2021, Devgan bought a bungalow spread over 474.4 square meters in Juhu, Mumbai for Rs 47.5 crore, for which he took a loan of Rs 18.75 crore. The property, part of the Kapol Cooperative Housing Society, transferred it jointly to Veena Virendra Devgan and Devgan.
