AJC 2023: Unstoppable Adrian/Felisha, Danish/Fauzia and Ignasius/Medina Stopped

Mixed doubles Adrian Pratama/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu were unstoppable to advance to the last 16 of the 2023 BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships (AJC) tournament.

Victory at the 2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championships (AJC) was achieved after defeating the Taiwanese pair, Cheng Ying Tsai/Lin Yu-Hao.

The Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2023 match which took place at the Amongraga Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, Thursday (13/7/2023), ended with a score of 21-14, 21-18 for Adrian/Felisha’s victory over Cheng/Lin.

Adrian/Felisha, who participated for the first time in the 2023 BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships team number, admitted that they were still adapting to the field conditions. During the AJC tournament, they had never played on a size five court.

“We are still adapting to the field because we are not used to playing on that field. We are still fumbling around, so the points scored in the second game were tight,” said Felisha.

With this result, Adrian/Felisha made it to the last 16 and will face mixed doubles from China, Chen Zhe Han/Liao Li Xi.

The pair from China advanced after defeating the mixed doubles pair from Malaysia, Low Han Chen/Chong Jie Yu, with a score of 21-17, 21-15.

In facing Chen/Liao, Adrian/Felisha are determined to appear carefree so they can go further in the 2023 BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships (AJC).
