Apple Fights Against IDR 31.2 Trillion Fine Related to Alleged App Store Monopoly Practices

Previously, Apple was reportedly working on a new iPhone that was much thinner than the current generation. The company seems to want to apply a thinner design to the entire Apple product line, after they released the iPad Pro which is claimed to have the thinnest design to date.

This thin iPhone model is said to be included in the iPhone 17 line, and will replace the position of the Plus series which is less popular with users.

Quoted from EngadgetWednesday (22/5/2024), according to several sources, the iPhone 17 Slim is predicted to have a level of innovation equivalent to the iPhone X. However, Apple has not yet decided on the design language and use of materials for the body of this cellphone.

From several reports that have emerged, this slim iPhone design will present a fresher design. Starting from the smaller camera cutout and the rear camera arrangement which has been moved to the middle, instead of to the left edge like the previous series.

On the screen side, this iPhone has the same width as the iPhone Pro Max, which is around 6.12 and 6.69 inches.

This increase also coincided with higher prices. Reports say this phone will even be more expensive than the Pro Max variant.

For information, the iPhone Pro Max series is sold starting at USD 1,200 or around IDR 19 million. Considering that the iPhone Slim is said to be a replacement for the Plus series iPhone, it is possible that this year will be the last time this model is released.

Moreover, it is reported that Apple will not make design changes to the iPhone 16. The company is said to be more focused on implementing artificial intelligence in this latest series.
