Apple Vision Pro Ready to Hit the Global Market, Does Indonesia Get Part?

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Apple Vision Pro, which was previously only available for the United States market, is rumored to also be sold globally. This information is known from the latest report by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

Quoting information from 9to5MacTuesday (14/5/2024), Apple reportedly plans to release the Vision Pro to more markets after the WWDC 2024 event which will be held early next month.

Although the exact date of its arrival has not been confirmed, according to the report, Apple has trained a number of its retail staff outside the United States about the demo and sales process for the headset.

Therefore, based on this report, there is a possibility that the global launch for Apple Vision Pro will be announced at WWDC 2024. Then, sales of the device will start after that.

It was stated that this training had been carried out on a number of staff from Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and China. However, it is not yet known whether this device will also visit other markets, including Indonesia.

On the other hand, according to a report by well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the sales figures for the Vision Pro are said to not be in line with Apple's expectations.

Quoted from The Drum, the slow adoption in introducing new technology to the public is one of the reasons why this headset lacks interest. However, this is not a sign that the device will actually be finished.

According to Kuo, the company plans to ship between 400,000 and 450,000 Vision Pro units. This figure is said to be not the minimum number of 700,000 units that Apple had predicted, and this headset has not yet been released outside the United States.
