Responding to links with his former club ahead of the end of the season, the Manchester United coach confirmed no contact had been made by the Dutch giants regarding a possible return to the Eredivisie.
Even so, Ten Hag also doesn't seem to rule out the opportunity to return to Ajax Amsterdam if he is fired by the Red Devils at the end of the 2023/2024 campaign.
“I have signed my contract and I am not someone who will just leave. So I assume that I will be at Manchester United next season,” said Ten Hag to Viaplayas reported by Metro.
“(But regarding the potential to return to Ajax Amsterdam) why not? I had a very good period at Ajax.”
“I can work there in a very pleasant way. They are an interesting club with many possibilities,” continued the 54 year old tactician.
