Sumardji stated that Brazilian coach Gomes de Oliviera, who was present to watch Bhayangkara FC train on Thursday ahead of the match against Madura United, as one of the candidates.

Gomes de Oliveira has previously coached several clubs in Indonesia such as Madura United, Persiram Raja Ampat, Persela Lamongan, and Persiwa Wamena.

“We are talking with several coaches including Gomes de Oliviera. Due to the remaining time limit of eight games, of course it would be very difficult if we had to bring in or choose a coach from afar,” he said.

“From several interviews, he explained several things to overcome difficult situations, today I haven't confirmed yet. But tomorrow (Friday) we will confirm who the coach is,” he added.

Sumardji hopes that the new coach can bring Bhayangkara FC out of a difficult situation and definitely stay in League 1 for next season.
