BRI Liga 1 2023/2024 Results: Bhayangkara FC Stops Arema FC's 3 Winning Streak

Liputan6.com, Jakarta- The momentum for Arema FC's revival by achieving three consecutive wins in the BRI Liga 1 2023/2024 season had to be stopped at the hands of fellow bottom club Bhayangkara FC. Entertaining Bhayangkara FC at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Arema had to settle for a goalless draw, Wednesday (6/3/2024) evening WIB.

This draw ended Arema FC's positive trend since being handled by Widodo Cahyono Putro. Previously, Singo Edan successfully defeated Rans Nusantara FC, Persikabo 1973 and Persija Jakarta in the BRI Liga 1 continuation.

Determined to win four consecutive wins, Arema FC immediately put pressure on Bhayangkara. The first golden opportunity was obtained in the fifth minute. Unfortunately, Ariel Lucero's free kick was saved by goalkeeper Awan Setho.

Five minutes later Arema had another golden opportunity when Lucero's pass was headed by striker Charles Lokolingoy. But this time the ball hit the goalpost.
