Capello Supports and Prays for Ancelotti to Succeed in Handling the Brazilian National Team

– Former Real Madrid coach, Fabio Capello, supports Carlo Ancelotti to achieve success with Brazil.

Ancelotti is considered by Capello to be on the right track to take over Brazil in 2024.

“He (Ancelotti) is the best. You will not win everywhere, in Europe, if you are not great. He even won with Real Madrid, the most demanding club and Madrid is similar to Brazil,” said Capello.

“You can’t make mistakes and they (Brazil) have chosen someone who doesn’t make many mistakes. There is no time to train, there is no time to form a group, in general, there is not enough time with the national team,” Capello explained.

According to Capello, Ancelotti will be lucky to find a solid group of players. Capello hopes Ancelotti has players who are fit at the right time.

“For example, with England my players used to run like crazy all season but burn out when they played for the national team. Look at Manchester City in the Champions League Final against Inter. They are not a team we know,” he said.

“He has to update and rely on those he knows. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Militao. Luckily, lots of other players have played under him at club level, like Richarlison, Casemiro and Marquinhos. He has to follow them with their clubs but that’s quite easily because almost all of them play in Europe,” he added.
