Defeating Livin Mandiri, Jakarta Electric Wins in First Match

Yogyakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Jakarta Electric women's team successfully won their first match by beating the newcomer team, Jakarta Livin Mandiri with a score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-15), on the second day of the first round of Proliga 2024, at GOR Amongrogo Yogyakarta, Friday (26/4/2024).

Jakarta Electric's victory made its coach, Chamnan Dokmai, proud. The coach from Thailand was proud of being able to win even though his team was filled with many young players.

“However, we need to be wary of their foreign players who are very high,” added Chamnan.

The player in question is Polina Rohimova from Azerbaijan.

Jakarta Electric captain, Yolla Yuliana, revealed that there was no stage fright between juniors and seniors. He also said that this Proliga competition could be used as a training ground before leaving trials to South Korea.

As is known, Yolla will take a test to play in the South Korean League, early next month.

Meanwhile, for Livin Mandiri this was the second defeat, after previously losing to Jakarta BIN, on the first day of the first series, Thursday (25/4/2024).

Livin Mandiri coach, M Ansori admitted that his team did not appear like when they played against Jakarta Pertama Enduro in the opening match, Thursday (25/4/2024).

“Maybe the children were tired after playing for two days in a row,” said Ansori.
