Encouraging Women's Participation in the Crypto Industry, Binance Launches CRYPTO Perfume

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Popular blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, revealed its latest move to encourage more female participation in the crypto industry. The company announced a perfume innovation under the CRYPTO brand.

Binance's female marketing leaders announced their efforts to expand the company's inclusivity. This includes a focus on attracting women's attention with a marketing campaign featuring luxury fragrances just in time for International Women's Day which falls on March 8.

Crypto perfume was originally part of a series of ads for the company's inclusivity campaign, “Crypto is Yours.” Binance said the strategy was inspired by beauty advertising conventions while challenging the norms of the crypto space.

Binance marketing chief Rachel Conlan said based on her own experience in the crypto world, she saw the invaluable contributions of women firsthand.

“We're here to tell women everywhere, don't just be a bystander. “Break these boundaries, the existing narrative, and be part of the digital transformation that aims to redefine global finance,” said Rachel, quoted from Cointelegraph, Thursday (7/3/2024).

She added the campaign is not just a fragrance but a message to women that “they have an important role to play in the crypto revolution. Binance said that a core component of the initiative is to encourage more women to explore the crypto industry.

Conlan plans to reward the first 5,000 women who complete one of their beginner crypto courses with USD 25 in Tether. He stressed that crypto is universal and all individuals should be empowered to participate in the space.
