Esports National Team Wins 2 Gold Medals in the SEA Games, PBESI Prepares Bonuses

– Chairman of the Indonesian Esports Council (PBESI) Budi Gunawan is very proud of the achievements of esports athletes at the 2023 SEA Games, who have won two gold medals so far. He highly appreciated the achievements of these electronic sports athletes.

“All of us on behalf of PBESI are very proud, touched, and it’s hard to say in words. A very proud achievement,” said Budi Gunawan in Jakarta, Friday (12/5/2023).

As a form of appreciation, PBESI has prepared bonuses for athletes who win medals and make Indonesia proud on the world stage.

It is known that the Men’s and Women’s Esport National Team won the gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia in the valorant esports number. The Men’s National Esport Team, led by Baskoro Dwi “Roseau” Putra as the coach, succeeded in gaining gold at the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia after going through a long drama with the Singapore National Team in the final.

Meanwhile, in the tense Mobile Legend: Bang Bang (MLBB) match, the Women’s National Esport Team was left behind with a score of 1-2. However, the winning mentality of the team consisting of Fumi, Viorelle, Michelle, Vivi, Cindy, Isna and Violett made them completely undaunted. Indonesia managed to turn things around, winning with a score of 3-2.

“Esport or sports electronics deserves to be called a sport because of its operation gamesit uses human energy and mind, just like other sports,” said Budi Gunawan.
