Formula E Car Components Arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

– DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) will hold another Formula E racing event at the Ancol Circuit, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta in June 2023.

A number of Gen III car components that have faster speeds and are capable of producing 350 Kw of power have also begun to be imported from Monaco to Indonesia.

“Today JAS (Universal Space Service) airport services handling the arrival of the 2023 Formula E electric car,” said Corporate Communication of PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta, Ageng Wibowo, Friday (12/5/2023).

According to Wibowo, the components of the Formula E race car were transported using a Cargoluk B747-8R7F aircraft with a payload of approximately 88 tons, and unloaded at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Cargo Terminal, Tangerang, Banten.

“For flight first (flight), pallets The first is 88 tons consisting of electric car components (Formula E) which will be contested,” he said.

Wibowo said that after loading and unloading of goods was carried out at the Soetta Airport Cargo Terminal, the logistics of the Formula E car were then taken to the North Jakarta Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) warehouse complex.

“The process for the arrival of Formula E car components is gradual, and will last for the next three days or on May 14, 2023,” he explained.

The 8th Series Formula E car racing event will take place on 3-4 June 2023 at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, North Jakarta. The Formula E event in Jakarta was also held last year and became the ninth series.

This season’s Formula E race has completed nine series and New Zealand driver Nick Cassidy still leads the standings with 121 points. Pascal Wehrlein from Germany took second place with 101 points. While British driver Jack Dennis perched in third place with 96 points.
