Exclusive, Kobe Bryant Covers Game NBA 2K24: Presents New Modes and Features

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Game developer and publisher, 2K, announced that Kobe Bryant will be the cover athlete in the game NBA 2K24 for the Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition.

Kobe Bryant is known as a legendary basketball athlete who won an 18-time All-Star, five-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, two-time Olympic gold medalist, all-time leading scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer .

NBA 2K24 itself has been released globally on September 8, 2023 on all platforms and features crossplay compatibility for PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X|S.

“As we celebrate 25 years of NBA 2K with Kobe Bryant, we want to remember his legacy and impact on the game of basketball for generations,” said President of Visual Concepts, Greg Thomas, in a statement, Tuesday (11/7/2023).

Thomas added that the company has always valued the franchise’s history, as NBA 2K24 also sees the future to bring groundbreaking technological breakthroughs and the introduction of community-requested features such as crossplay.

To celebrate Black Mamba’s (Kobe Bryant’s nickname) return to NBA 2K covers, players can channel their Mamba passion into the new Mamba Moments mode.

The special mode recreates some of Kobe’s most captivating performances and progress through his incredible journey from phenom as a youth player to becoming one of the greatest players of all time.

Additionally, NBA 2K24 will introduce ProPLAY, a groundbreaking new technology that instantly turns NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay.

ProPLAY delivers animation and movement through on-court NBA action in authenticity on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. More details on Mamba Moments and ProPLAY will be released in the near future.
